This 2-day workshop is designed to provide instruction for appropriately licensed persons who wish to teach nurse aides in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Topics include how to establish a Nurse Aide training program, principles of adult learning, creative teaching, developing lesson plans and the certification process. This program is designed to meet the Virginia Board of Nursing Regulations Governing Nurse Aides. Approved by NAB/NCERS for 10.00 clock hours.
Class Hours: 9 am to 3 pm each day

Dr. Paula Saxby,RN, Ph.D, Director of Education with the Virginia Board of Nursing is a frequent guest speaker of the program.
